HugglePets in the Community is a non-for-profit organisation launched in 2018 to help motivate, inspire and empower members of our local community through animal-related therapy and initiatives. Our community is at the heart of everything we do.

Fundraising ideas: 

• Sponsored Dog Walk

Get together with the dog walkers from your local park, choose a route and make a day of it! No matter how small or long the walk!

• Coffee Morning/Afternoon Tea Party

Organise a coffee morning with your friends or colleagues! Donations for the coffee/tea/cakes can go to HugglePets in the Community.

• Bake Sale

Organise a Bake Sale! All submissions can donate a small amount. Find a lovely judge who will test the cake and decide on your winner! (You may want to do the judging yourself).

• Pub quiz

A pub quiz is a fun way to get your local pub involved in fundraising! Put your general knowledge to the test. Don't forget to add some animal related questions! Entry fees can be the donation!

• Easy Fundraising

When purchasing items online why not use www.easyfundraising.co.uk and a contribution will be automatically sent to HugglePets CIC (HugglePetsCIC - Animal Assisted Therapy)

• Sponsored Silence

Why not try a classic Sponsored Silence! 

• Photo competition

Ask a group of pet lovers to submit a photo of their pet along with a donation. The best photo wins a prize!

• Waggy tail trail!

Organise a treasure hunt for your friends and their dogs! People participating can donate!

• Run a Race

Raise funds by planning a race that your friends, family and colleagues can participate in. All entries can pay a small donation.

• Raffle 

Hold a raffle by asking local businesses to donate prizes. A raffle can be a great way to raise funds! Please, ensure you visit the Gambling Commission website at www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk

• Name the dog

Play a spin off of Name The Teddy! 20p a guess. It all adds up!

• Car boot/Yard Sales

Why not sell your unwanted items and donate the profits to HugglePets in the Community!
