Online Activities One-to-One Therapy As part of our commitment to support individuals who may be struggling with their mental health, especially -during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to offer a limited number of sessions to people who would prefer one-to-one type therapy. These sessions will still be a 6 week long programme, but can be tailored to individual needs. Cost of Therapy Sessions HugglePets in the Community are able to offer a limited number of one-to-one sessions partially funded by grants and fundraising activities. This means that HugglePets in the Community will fund half of your programme for you. Online Therapy Sessions - How do they work? Our online therapy sessions are hosted via Zoom, this is a FREE online conference calling app you can use on your phone or computer. Instructions to join via ZOOM: You do not need to sign up but simply click on the link and enter the password to join (password issued upon sign up). Enter the ID code associated and password with the activity (shown below) Click join with Computer Audio (this will test your camera and microphone work) If you wish to join without camera or audio please click on the appropriate buttons as you join the call (page will appear once you enter the ID code) By joining the activities you will be able to see us, and it enables you to share your camera and audio with us! All you need to do to is click on the links below and access the sessions. We strongly encourage bringing your pets of course! FAQ's How long is the programme? The programme is 6 weeks on the same date and time each week. Each session is 50 minutes long. How old do you need to be to attend the adult programme? You must be at least 18 at the point of starting the programme, identification will be required at week 1 of the programme. Will my information be kept confidential? Yes, all information discussed in the programme and sessions are confidential and all paperwork is kept in a safe and secure location. We never share your personal information or the contents of your sessions with anyone else, unless there is a recognised danger to yourself or others. At which point, appropriate support organisations may be contacted and you will be notified if this is to happen. Where will the sessions take place? You can chose to meet in person or complete your sessions online via a conferencing app called Zoom. You do not need to subscribe or sign up to access the meetings as links and passwords to enter each session will be granted to you following sign up. How do I book my 6 week programme? Book your 6 week programme by clicking on the appropriate link above. Do I have to pay for all 6 sessions up front? Yes, all session fees are due at the time of booking, please have your card details to hand. We take full payment upfront to secure your bookings for each week for the duration of the programme. What if I have to miss or cancel a session? In the event you need to rearrange or cancel a session, we require at least a minimum of 24hrs notice from the commencement of the session, failure to notify us with more than 24hrs notice will result in a loss of that session.
