We are pleased to announce that we have secured funding with Severn Trent Community Fund to build a brand new Pond and Wildlife Education Centre.

This new Centre will allow the HugglePets in the Community staff to educate the community on how using waste water, animal waste and sustainable methods, we can grow food and reduce our CO2 impact on the environment. This project is the first of its kind for Severn Trent as it is the first project they have funded that involves animals to support education and wellbeing.

The Centre will also allow us to incorporate our current work of Animal Assisted Interventions to support the wellbeing of people in the Black Country.

The project is aimed at supporting the wellbeing and education of all in the community, with different ideas for sustainability and fun activities to explore inside the new room. We are planning to open the Centre early February 2023.
